Hi Lawrence;

 From an enginering book on windmill design,
for a vertical surface, perpendicular to the wind.

  At 10MPH it is 0.492lb/ft².

To find the load for other velocities, multiple this number
by the square of the ratio of the new velocity over 10MPH.

example:

(20MPH/10MPH)² x 0.492 lb/ft² = 1.968 lb/ft²

This assumes sea level.

The numbers for many velocities are in the "Data Files" folder
of the "Files" section of my "LittleHouses" Yahoogroup. They
were transfered there from the engineering book on windmills,
by a group member.
