[Greenbuilding] Careers in green building

Does anyone have any suggestions for finding work in the green building industry?  I have been working with Habitat for Humanity for about two years (which uses purely traditional construction methods) and am discovering that I would love to have a career in construction.  I'm very interested in sustainable construction, but I'm at a bit of a loss when it comes to finding employment resources.  I don't have much hands-on experience with green building techniques, so I'm considering enrolling first in some of the building schools that are out there. However, I think perhaps it would be better to find an apprenticeship with a company that does this sort of work.  If anyone has any suggestions, I would certainly appreciate them.
