[Greenbuilding] Der Gubernator strikes another blow for the environment

"Greenhouse THIS!" says der Gubernator, aiming his lethal 50 caliber Pen at Global Warming.  I am liking this guy more and more.  He is moving California in a Green direction, mandating Greenhouse gas emissions and mandating that buildings must meet the requirements for LEED Certified at a minimum, even if they don't go through the formal program.  I was pretty skeptical at first that such a comical character could be an effective governor but I am pleasantly surprised.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger <http://search.news.yahoo.com/search/news/?p=Arnold+Schwarzenegger>  is taking his green initiatives to the other side of the country. The governor was to announce an executive order Monday in New York that joins California's landmark global warming law with the Northeast's program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
