[Greenbuilding] Green Death and Water Quality

Actually, the corpses don't float up, the (sealed) coffins will work
their way up due to the air trapped inside.

On another note, Jews have been using "green" burial practices for over
4000 years as embalming is forbidden by our faith.

If you are looking for a chemical free resting place, look for a spot
near your local Jewish cemetery.

In the New Orleans graveyards, all corpses are put in crypts
aboveground, because the corpse buried underground will float up when
the ground gets saturated. A creepy hand pokes out of the dark,
steaming muck,.... The stuff of horror movies! If you've got a lot of
wetlands, you have the same situation.
