[Greenbuilding] Tankless HW and hard water

We had an electric S.E.T.S. unit on a country place with water well and 
minerals/hard water issues.
It broke the first time(and due to Lifetime Warranty we replaced it) AND 
added a water filter. 
Broke a second time and fixed again, broke a THIRD time and we switched to a 
traditional electric WH. 
I wasn't a big fan of it anyway. Anyone wanna buy it?

I'm not saying it was just the hardwater/sediment, but . . . .
