[Greenbuilding] stripping paint off old doors

And how would you go about removing Duct tape from old windows???? I recently moved an old house 20 miles, and thought I would save the windows by making "X"'s in duct tape to give them support. It WORKED - but what a mess. Finally I heard I could use Jasco Paint Stripper - the kind that will remove Epoxy. It really works. But does anyone have a suggestion how to remove the paint on the window frames (which are old steel frames, from 1940) at the same time? Also, the sills and jambs are painted wood. Is that going to be another process, or can I do it all at the same time?

This is a LOT of work - I wish I had the money to say............Take them all out and replace them........ But OTOH it would really be nice to save them and get the frames in good enough shape that I would want to paint them again.
