These folks are neighbors of mine. I have seen their work, and it is
beautiful. It is concrete with glass cullet mixed in, and then ground and
polished. Looks very cool, but sometimes glass chips can come loose from the
slab, or be chipped out of it. One of the workers at a place where it is
installed said she wouldn't want it in her house...
This is not to say that it might not be good for the right customer and the
right application, but it might not be for everyone.

Prasad and Shahoma make glasscrete and use it to build countertops and
sinks, in Southern Oregon. They also have worked with earth plasters and
at straw bale construction.
