I'm going to predict that you will see a lot of real estate companies
offering a lot of big incentives to get people to sign on the line
before June 1st. Either that or the prices will go up $1,000 to quietly
cover the fines as "part of the cost of doing business..." That happened
in the trucking industry in one of our Maritime provinces, and a judge
declared the fines as being tax-deductable under the "part of the cost
of doing business" clause of that era.
