Dear All,

A good friend, and well known building energy designer of 25 years (Berkeley PhD), told me that he was called by one of the members of the list-serve this morning asking about me and what I have conveyed these last few days. He said that he reviewed the material and thought that my pros would be offensive to many, but that technically speaking, completely accurate.

With this I shall part ways with the Green Building Listserv. I hope I have given you reason to question your most basic assumption about green building and I really do apologize if I have offended anyone personally, as that was never my intention (sorry Joe but your top ten list does need work). (...and especially for the W vs W-hr)

If I have offend the Green Building World professionally, even just a little, then my task is done here. As I can assure you the mono-path non-sustainable Green Building World is very offensive to me. But I have given you all the major pieces needed to change course if you really wanted to, with the possible exception of exactly how I do what I do, and that as they say, is another story.

In parting, please let me thank you again for your time and consideration!

  Sincerely,

  Christophor Faust
