This could allow for a thermal break between the slab and the foundation wall givin the right details. Might be a good thing to consider. I imagine most of the residential contractors around here would balk, but the balked at most everything I want to do.

Good practice, structural as well as thermal, is not to bring the
slab out
under the wall. Keeping the slab inside and bringing the wall down
to bear
on the foundation reduces slab cracking, improves thermal envelope.
