[Greenbuilding] cinder block vs. Faswall ICF

In my quest for the perfect foundation wall someone on this list directed me
to <Faswall> blocks, <http://www.shelterworksonline.com/product.html> which
I investigated and find very promising. Although the raw *material* cost is
roughly 2.5x that for cinder blocks (or $3.50 more/square foot of wall), I
realize I'm getting a thicker wall, I may need less concrete (?), and I get
some integral insulation out of the deal.
One question I have is how folks may have gone about insulating a
cinderblock wall, and whether they'd recommend this, over, say, the Faswall
system?
