Do you think using clay paints on paperless drywall eliminate the mould  
issue?

I don't think you have as much to worry about with respect to  moulds  
on the clay paints. They can absorb and release moisture,  reducing  
their ability to create ideal growing conditions. Of course  when it's  
on drywall, that is more of an issue than the paint.  Putting it on  
plaster will allow the entire wall system to transpire  moisture.....
