Interesting ideas, Nick.  Have you seen a system that uses soap foam?  

I saw a neighbor build and unsuccessful system that filled the window
with foam beads - with no static control the beads stuck to everything.
Apparently that has been solved, but few systems have been installed.  

How would the soap foam system operate?  How efficient would it be?
