[Greenbuilding] From another country...

Hallo.

     Had some supplies delivered today, with a boom truck.  When it 
was all offloaded, I looked at the bed of the truck and speculated 
that it must surely be hardwood, perhaps oak.  The operator said that 
it was actually a wood "from another country" which was so hard that 
they had trouble cutting it, when they had to order some in to 
replace the existing bed.

     Anyone have any idea what it was?  It seemed to have a pretty 
wide grain, but there's no doubt that it was hard...
