[Greenbuilding] [BULK] metal roof colors

Indeed, there are some colors from various manufacturers that are energy
star certified for their heat reflecting qualities.  It is not always
the colors that seem visually "lighter", it depends on measurement of
heat not light.  Here is an example:

i know lighter is better, but with proper insulation and ventilation, 
does it matter a lot?
    The darker colors look better to me and everyone els i've talked to.
One advantage of a high-end metal roof is that they have darker 
colors which supposedly reflect the heat. Do you believe it?
