[Greenbuilding] Alternative Trim Stock

Fine Homebuilding did a review of composite trim products a couple of
years ago (sorry I don't know the issue, but I'm sure you could look it up
at Taunton.com). I recall that a hardboard product called Miratec was
rated favorably, with assurances that it had overcome some of the problems
that plagued first-generation hardboard composites. They did caution that
it must be painted on all surfaces--including end cuts--and caulked well.
