[Greenbuilding] Solar panel recommendations

I may yet order some solar water heater panels by the end of the year
(tax credit is an incentive, and it's been on my radar for a while)  

Can anyone recommend manufacturers of panels?  Good, bad, ugly, cheap,
worth-the-money?  

According to one chart, I would be in a marginal area (central
Missouri)for evacuated tube ($$$$), probably a good quality flat plate
would do fine.  IF I could create a system that would supply half my hot
water in the winter and all of it in the summer, I'd be happy with that.
We tend to have very cloudy weather from November thru January, and
solar gets less effective then.  

What manufacturers have you had good luck with?  

How about distributors?
