[Greenbuilding] test - why are my messages disappearing?

Kat, this is in fact off-topic, but,

You find help info if you send ( as every footer states) a  blank mail
to: List info: 
http://listserv.repp.org/mailman/listinfo/greenbuilding_listserv.repp.org

If you hit the reply key in your mail prog,
your reply is addressed to the original poster ( the Chevy man) not 
to the list;
thats a safety precaution from the list owner.
To reply to the mail server, ~ to the group,
you have to change the "To:" address to "  GREENBUILDING at listserv.repp.org   "
or click here:  mailto:GREENBUILDING at listserv.repp.org

AND

Like all good list servers "TEXT ONLY" is allowed, so check your mail 
prog options,
are reply's or mail-out standard in ASCII or  "  text only " 
NOT  with  HTML  layout?

Btw Sending "test" messages to a list serv is absolutely 'not don', 
imagine that all
700 plus members do this every week if things don't run like they use 
to be. ...
And servers could be down sometimes to, ( like right now ;-)
