     (a) It would be preaching to the choir.

     (b) It's not directly relevant to the purpose of the list.

     (c) I was busy getting my house weathered in before the snow hit.

     (d) Though I'm not always successful, I try to retain my  
impulses to call other people to account when they fail to adhere to  
my values.
