Not now. Got to pay building debt down, and then save up toward
the car. I have an account established, and once the current car
debt is zero, the payment will go into that account, toward an
electric car, so that when the current guzzler finally goes, it can
be replaced with an electric. This is, I hope, at least five years
out. By then I'm hoping that the new batteries will be widespread,
and electric vehicles will be easier to come by. We'll see.

That's probably a good sign, actually. That means that supply
and demand will be bringing production up, and costs down, and
eventually they'll be within budget for us.

One of the reasons I want to get the basic grid connection, and
a solar system, in place is that I could charge from the grid for a
car, and then gradually and steadily add panels until someday I'm
overproducing. I think it would make it easier to spend a hundred or
so on a panel and frame every few months, and realize the benefits
immediately, than to drop $20,000+ on a system large enough to keep
up with a car.
