I install triple cell blinds all the time for clients that cannot
change out or double pane their windows at the present. They are
supposed to have an R value somewhere between 2 and 4, depending who
is saying it, and are pretty inexpensive. I have bought them from
Jessit-Gold, wholesale branch of Smith and Noble, and Hunter Douglas.
I think the Hunter Douglas brand has higher quality hardware. Their
brand name is Duette triple cell honeycomb blinds.

You still get the condensation problem mentioned earlier because of
insulating inside the glass.

Thermal comfort is improved, according to my anecdotal experience.
