[Greenbuilding] Placing green roof media

In my experience, vegetated roof installers are already doing things like
this. When we did a green roof project a few years ago, the growth media
(they don't even call it soil; it's an engineered mix of soil and materials
to support the growth of the plants on the roof) was applied with a blower
truck. It only needs a few inches of depth, and it's light enough that this
application works well.
