[Greenbuilding] bamboo, formaldehyde

I queried Plyboo and was told that there is indeed a very small
amount of added UF in their current standard production. "The amounts
are so small that they are barely detectable (averaging around 0.006
mg/L for the 3/4" 3-ply), so from a health and safety point of view
they are completely fine. " They do not, though, satisfy the LEED
no-added-UF point.
Also, he says they are getting all their sheet goods to zero
formaldehyde (meaning added UF, presumably) within the next 6-8 months.
So it sounds to me (until others tell me otherwise) that, at least in
terms of the UF criterion, Plyboo is a decent choice now and will be
competitive with EcoTimber shorty.
(I have no vested interest in Plyboo, btw. I posed the question
because I have some spec'd out in two current projects.)
