[Greenbuilding] Plybooboo

This thread is very interesting and timely for me, since we will be
remodeling our home this spring and plan to install bamboo flooring.  One
thing that I have taken from this and a few other discussions is --- be as
green as you are able.  We are still going to put bamboo in our home, but we
will be more careful in choosing who we purchase it from.  We cannot
purchase everything we need locally, and even if we could I don't know if we
would.  We will continue to look at new, energy efficient and sustainable
materials, but we will also be painfully aware of how empty our pocketbook
is.
