So some carpeted areas, possibly FLOR Modular Carpet Tile or rugs,
aren't going to change the mass too much.
The concrete, if done well, could look amazing. And slippers are a

I have the option of fairly green electricity (hydro, cow power etc.)
and liquid propane.
I like the idea of on-demand, propane powered probably, just because
it seems so silly
to have a tank heating water constantly until you use it.
Would you have to know how an on-demand system would fit with a HRV
or ERV setup?
I've been looking at the LifeBreath system, through another home
construction I'm
involved with.
In my head the passive solar + on-demand + HRV makes perfect sense,
but there's always that worry.
