What should the roof be?

Living roof (also called green roof) utilizing xeriscape and
drought-resistant plants, Native plants.

What should the floor be?

Earthen floor. Option: brick floor set in sand over a moisture barrier with
proper base.

What should the walls be?

Straw bales for their insulative value and because they are a natural
material. Could be any type of baleable material - wheat, oat, rye or
whatever grain crop straw you have readily available; or grasses (we've used
Timothy, short and tall bluestem, switchgrass, Sudan grass); Nebraska
pioneers are said to have used cattails and reeds.
