[Greenbuilding] Using Corten roofing with rainwater harvesting

I am contemplating whether or not to use Corten (oxidized or rusty) 
metal roofing in conjunction with a rainwater harvesting system.  I 
intend to use the water for potable use and my obvious concern is if 
the Corten will continue to leech rust into the water of if it will 
fully oxidize at some point and not contaminate the water thereafter.

Anyone have experience with Corten used in this application?
