<Personally, I dislike windows. They
are more expensive than walls, and so is their framing, and they leak heat
and air and they can leak water and bats and bugs and burglars and
baseballs.
Daylighting only works during the day. Most people draw shades over windows
at night, when they become big black cold holes. Why not put windows on
an isolated sunspace and enjoy daylighting and views in the sunspace during
the day and repair to a 24-hour windowless living space at night?>
NICK!!! What to do with those unruly folk who would from their bedside view
the rising of the moon, or sun, or enjoy a breeze during milder weathers?
What of such souls who through an open sash would listen to a cardinal's
call at breakfast? Or ken what sort of coat to wear? Or site a neighbor
walking up the path for a visit?
All kidding (and I'm only PARTIALLY kidding) aside.....
<You might simply say "I do not understand your calculations." That's OK.
Ignorance is curable.>
....I readily confess my ignorance of the ways of esoteric formulae--likely
INCURABLE at this rather advanced stage in life--Can you, in future posts,
sort of summarize in plain language what they mean--as I do suspect they are
significant, and that some important, general principles can be derived from
them.
