Greetings,
I am a longtime, avid reader of the greenbuild listserv. Anyway, I
am also a naturopathic physician who practices homeopathy, probably the
greenest medicine out there. I am also an Architecture committee
member for the American Medical College of Homeopathy
(http://www.amcofh.org/) . The AMCH is committed to an ambitious
program of fundraising to help build a new campus. It is the
intention of the board members to utilize the Hanover Principles to
build a LEED certifiable complex in the next five years.
So that brings me to my purpose. We are looking for more committee
members. Currently members live in the Phoenix area and beyond. I
live in Santa Rosa, Ca. Other members are in Boston and Colorado. We
meet via conference calls monthly. I realize this all may sound rather
nebulous and pie-in-the-sky as the school as only raised a small
fraction of the needed capital to finance such a project. But various
avenues are under investigation: gifts of land, partnering with a local
community college, retrofitting existing urban location. Due to
current licensing laws, the school must be in either Arizona, Nevada
or Connecticut with the most likely candidate as Arizona.
I am looking for a small plug on treehugger to troll for potential new
volunteers with vision, interest in green architecture and that certain
"let's triumph over all odds" mentality.
If any of your team members would be interested in discussing this
further, please do not hesitate to email.
Thank you so much for your time and attention,
J. Claire Green, ND
