[Greenbuilding] Universally Green

We are a small construction consulting company in Fort Collins Colorado (3 employees). Although we are a franchise, we ourselves are very independent. For the last two years we have built a mid to mid-upper level home and auctioned it off for a local charity group (The Child Advocacy Centers) and raised in excess of $95,000 each year. Our goal this year is to help educate the people of Northern Colorado on the benefits and cost effectiveness of building green and universal design (which to us are basically one and the same). We plan on using the original website for the charity home (www.ubuilditforthechildren.org) that we established for last years home. This year we want to use it not only to vote for the finishes used in the home, but to make it proactively educational to the public and small builders. The home will still be auctioned with 100% of the proceeds going to the same charity.
I am very concerned that poor or misguided information about building green or universal design is not published on this website nor incorporated into the home. As I said, we are a small office and there is a massive amount of information out there. Some good, some average, some poor. Can anyone refer us to information sources, that they have had experience with, that they feel are very reliable? We would appreciate any assistance in this endeavor!
