Neat stuff. Not only is it lead-free but it melts at a somewhat lower 
temperature, flows better when molten, and apparently has a nicer finish 
when machined than other alloys. This should save manufacturers  money 
by reducing their energy needs, and perhaps even by reducing the number 
of mis-cast parts (if this is applicable...).

Those are some fine bonuses.
