I wonder how dry it gets clothing. IIRC, a good washing machine spin
still leaves 50% moisture. They also say it reduces wrinkles and removes
soapy water and minerals.

The next step might be a solar dehumidifier, eg a 4'x8'x1' glazed box full 
of
Tyvek clay dessicant bags on wire shelves with a counterflow heat exchange
chimney, eg 10' of 6" stovepipe inside 10' of 8" pipe that ends in a 
basement,
