Thanks to all who sent information on green-built hospitals.
Fascinating stuff.

(I was dismayed to find out that the new local hospital will be using
vinyl flooring and wallcoverings.)

This is an area that I'm definitely researching, since I'd like to
concentrate on marketing my art to designers and consultants who
place art in public places such as green-built hospitals, hotels,
restaurants, etc.

Right now, I use traditional artist's materials, all water-based.
There are very few problems with outgassing, otherwise, I couldn't
work around them everyday.

I'm not sure if the market is large enough (or if I can reach it) for
me to make the investment in buying and using some of the more
"green" materials, such as no-VOC paints and sealers. I would like
to be in a position to do this in the future because I personally
believe it's important.

I guess the big question is...is this really important to
greenbuilders and designers who spec materials for buildings?
