[Greenbuilding] bathroom fan

Regardless of what fan you purchase, go down to the local car stereo
store that sells the glowing dingo lights (they make cars go faster
I'm told) and that sell the super boom boom rocking shaking rattling
stuff. Ask them for some anti vibration padding that they wrap the
speakers in to stop them from shaking the cars to bits. You can buy
it in relatively small amounts this way. Install it between your
woody bits in the attic and the ceiling fan. This will help reduce,
well, vibrations. If you have access to anti vibration padding
elsewhere, in larger quantities, it will be cheaper, but this is in
nice handy sizes.

I've heard that this will reduce the noise by a whole sone, but I've
never tested that, and can't confirm.
