Thanks Ward--
It took this citizen of a lesser developed nation a half hour to figure out
how to convert KPA's to PSF's, which if my cypherin' is good is 355 psf at
10% deformation.  Or 7/16" or so using 4" of insulation.  I suppose that's
not bad if the collapse occurs before the set, and it behaves itself
thereafter.

I found the following on the Roxul website.

Compressive resistance 17 KPA at 10% deformation, 40 KPA at 25% deformation
ASTM E96

I'm not sure if that is sufficient for holding up a concrete slab
