This seems such a typical human response (nowadays anyway). Some
natural system is perceived to be 'wrong'. Some quick fix to the
symptoms is proposed, implemented, and turns out to be at least as bad
a problem as the original. All this without asking what would seem to
be the essential questions:

1) Is there really a problem? That is, is the situation out of balance
as a natural ecosystem, or is it just not as man wants it?

2) If there is a problem, how does the problem situation differ from a
properly working natural system?

3) What is the cause of this difference?

4) How can this cause be remedied so that the system returns to balance?

I have a friend who is proposing launching sun blocking satellites to
cure the global climate change problem. I am unable to convince him
that he will then have two problems, not one.

Thank You Kindly,

Corwyn
