Even better might be to use a tankless electric (SESCO) as a backup to
the solar water heater. Invest in a larger storage tank vs. panels, a
tank with a internal heat exchanger for the solar loop. Invest in water
efficient fixtures, distribution system (structured plumbing), and a
D'Mand recirculation pump.
