I really think this is an opportunity for us. If anybody has experiences
like this in the future, press the builders to tell you specifically why
they are against this code approved, energy efficient, cost effective,
building technique. post their responses.
We need to compile a list of issues and address them in a concise document
proving that this is compelling for them.
I know my builder felt the sheathing would be 'wavy' because of the
further separated studs. He also questioned the strength of the walls made
in this manner.
It's not an easy sell now that it's somewhat leading edge construction
method. But we have to get the momentum going.
Keep pushing.
