[Greenbuilding] flower power, wheat fiber

We have Microstrand wheatboard (3/4" x4'x8') from Phenix Biocomposites. Our
cabinet folks tell us it doesn't machine quite as well as Primeboard and Dow
Wheatstalk but it's acceptable. In the NYC area, call Bettencourt in
Brooklyn. 

Columbia, Sierra and a couple other forest products suppliers keep telling
us their equivalents will be coming out but it's a b*tch getting them to
supply the Mid-Atlantic. Those out west and in Canada are in better shape.

Is there a list of mdf-alternative/cabinetry core materials that are
currently available? (And competitively priced?)
