I've had pretty good luck fashioning paper lamp shades out of yellow-tinted
paper. You can use wire or skip the wire and just glue or fold some of your
favorite paper around the bulb, leaving some air gap of course. I've found
it possible to reproduce incandescent yellow pretty easily.

Has anyone else tried this?
