We have been averaging about 10kwh/day during the winter in our house.
We have all CFL bulbs, energy star appliances and turn off lights when
not in the room. We do have an electric oven (gas top) and an electric
clothes dryer. We heat hot water with propane. It's not hard to drop
your electrical useage if you are willing to try.
