Sustainable Engineering Opportunities

Recognizing the trend toward green infrastructure practices, ACEC and 
Colorado State University will offer a first-ever certificate program, 
//Green Infrastructure and Sustainable Communities

four-day "summer institute" certificate course, July 16-19 at CSU's 
Denver Center, will feature in-depth discussions of green and integrated 
engineering practice by a number of leading practitioners, application 
of sustainability audit tools, and examination of sustainable solutions 
in transportation and water markets. 

Attendees will visit several area sustainable projects--including the 
New Belgium Brewery, featured on the May 2 edition of  //NBC Nightly 
News--//and may elect to stay an additional (fifth) day to take part in

ACEC online seminars are highly focused 1-1/2-hour learning sessions 
presented by experienced professionals from leading industry firms, and

computer connection, and covers one participant or a roomful.
