Conspiracy theories abound. The honeybees are being killed by a new
disease, which may be encouraged by the fact that honeybees are now
routinely trucked around following the orchard bloom. Eventually, they
will bounce back, as natural systems tend to do, like they did after the
mite scare a few years ago. Meanwhile, I am stocking up on honey, I
expect the price to rise soon. No need to blame cell phone towers,
there is a simple, rational explanation here.
In the office there, we have been laughing about a conspiracy theory
about Government Mind Control. The paranoid conspiracy theorists say
you must wear tinfoil helments to counteract the governments evil mind
control network, which is installed in cell phone towers. Just google
on Government Mind Control and Aluminum, if you want some comic relief.

I've read recently that one *theory* on why honeybees are dying
suddenly is that they may be confused by cellphone signals, or the
frequencies emitted by the towers. I have no idea whether this is
true, but what about human health effects of wi-fi? I am just
beginning to play with wi-fi at home, and would appreciate any
thoughts on the subject.
This is tangential to greenbuilding, I realize, but since we're this
far along in our discussion of EMFs I thought I'd inquire.
