[Greenbuilding] Splitting wood

I have to say, the most important part of my ax is the rubber sleeve I've
added around the end of the handle where it enters the head. I haven't found
the perfect one that stays in place all the time, but even so it reduces the
force and frequency with which the handle encounters the wood I'm trying to
split.
