     No, done that way it wouldn't.  It's an interesting illustration 
of how assumptions can affect design decisions.

     I don't think that would work for us; during the day, as we 
snack, we're putting into the compost pretty frequently.  So that 
would result in opening the fridge a lot more, for us.
