     I would not want to modify a bicycle that way.  First, it would 
add weight, which would generally make upward slopes more difficult. 
Second, and more important from a safety standpoint, it would 
increase stopping distances.

     We were talking about experimenting with a bicycle wheel 
permanently adapted to be part of a power generator.
