[Greenbuilding] jurisdictions that approve residential greywater systems?

A group of local upstarts are considering a lobbying effort to get our local
water authority to approve residential grey water systems.  Can anyone
report on other, more enlightened, jurisdictions, which already "go with the
flow?"
