     I agree that such containers would probably work fine for 
humanure.  They'd be a bit heavier and a bit more fragile, but those 
are the only drawbacks I can see.  (The latter objection could be 
dealt with by getting some made of Pyrex or similar.)

     However, 5-gallon buckets last a long time, properly cared for, 
and are free for the taking from drywall crews in quantities far 
greater than you would ever need.  Why make more work?
