Just to prove i can talk out of both sides of my mouth at almost the same 
time.....

Yes, when a T&T window is tilted, the only way is through the glass - it's 
all in the very clever hardware.

In a former residence, i enclosed a porch with some T&T windows and took 
great joy in leaving the windows open (tilted) for most of June, July and 
most of August. Despite what Michael Moore may be believe we lock our doors 
up here. Especially in that neighbourhood. Never felt insecure w/ the tilted 
T&T windows though......
