Hmm, We're 25 miles north of Lawrence, that's 50 miles round trip which we
both do at least three times a week, in different vehicles.  I'll have to
check this out.  Wonder what the reach of the electric battery is?   Problem
is that our trusty Nissan already has over 200 thousand miles on it.  We
drove up to Chicago in our '05 Corolla using slightly over 40 mpg on the
way. Not bad.  The Nissan is lucky to get  into the high 20s.    Sacie
